Harlequins back-three standout Louis Lynagh is reportedly set to leave the Gallagher Premiership side at the end of the season per a report in Rugbypass.
The 23-year-old is set to join United Rugby Championship outfit Benetton where his father Wallaby legend Michael played between 1991-1996.
A former age-grade international for England, Louis is eligible to represent Australia through his father, England through residency and Italy through birth and his mother.
Previously, Lynagh was approached by former Italy head coach Kieran Crowley about a move to join the Azzurri but, at that, was a member of Eddie Jones's England training squads.
The news of his rumoured departure would appear to signal where his international allegiances now lie.
Should Lynagh indeed join Benetton, he will link up with an all-star cast of talented operators in the backline such as Rhyno Smith, Tommaso Menoncello, Malakai Fekitoa, Paolo Odogwu, Jacob Umaga and Alessandro Garbisi.
Coached by Italian test centurion Marco Bortolami, Benetton are currently second on the URC table with just a single loss through nine rounds.
