Stuart Barnes is one of the more well-known names in rugby. Despite his playing days ending back in the 1990s, his stature has become more well-known for his discussions and opinions on the game as a writer, pundit and commentator than for his achievements on the field. Either way, with ten caps for England and roughly thirty years' worth of journalism under his belt, he's got more knowledge than most when it comes to the sport.
This being said, his recent thoughts on the England team have come under much scrutiny - not least due to his choices on who he would have starting at number twelve. While clearly looking to choose a fast and exciting backline full of the likes of Marcus Smith, Alex Mitchell and Joe Marchant, the 60-year-old did go a little rogue with his inside centre choice.
