Waratahs centre Karmichael Hunt showed sublime skill in the build up to an epic team try against the Bulls in round 12 of Super rugby.
The try was scored by Nick Phipps following a series of offloads which moved the ball through the hands of seven different players in beautiful fashion, highlighted by a ‘behind the back’ pass from Hunt.
Wallaby star Kurtley Beale also got on the scoreboard to inspire a spirited comeback having been 18-7 down at half time.
But it wasn’t enough to earn a win for the Waratahs, who lost 28-21 in Pretoria to leave them two points off the top spot in the Australian conference.
