As of today, fans can now secure their seats for next year's DHL New Zealand vs British and Irish Lions Series matches. You can either enter the ballot for the Test matches, or buy for the other tour matches directly.

Tickets for the eagerly anticipated series are available from www.nzlionsseries17.com for all seven non-Test matches. The matches that are included in this package are the New Zealand Provincial Barbarians, Super Rugby teams and Maori All Blacks, with adult tickets from $39.

Children's tickets start at $10 for the Barbarians match and $29 for the other non-Test matches against the British and Irish Lions.

The tickets on sale for the All Blacks three-test series are excluded, as tickets are only available by entering the online ballot or securing official hospitatlity or travel packages.

New Zealand Rugby Chief Executive, Steve Tew said there is a high interest in this event, and he expected strong demand once tickets were on sale.

"The hype ahead of the legendary tour is really building, here and in the UK and Ireland.

"The seven New Zealand teams playing next year will be counting on the support of the home fans to ensure they more than match the passionate visitors in the unique atmosphere that only a New Zealand Lions Series creates."

Sadly, (from my points of view anyway), that might not make a huge difference! The depth in talent in NZ right now is getting ridiculous...

You have to remember none of the players will be selected for their teams that have been picked to play for the All Blacks
