Subtle kick pass creates lovely try for Oyonnax

Oyonnax were heavily beaten 38-13 by Brive in last weekend's European Challenge Cup Pool 5 clash, but this try caught the eye, as it featured a neat bit of play that you could easily miss if not watching closely. And after condeding four first half tries, it was welcome relief.

With a loose ball bobbling around in front of him, flyhalf Anthony Fuertes had the choice to dive on it, snatch at it or do what he did, which was to kick-pass it to outside centre Ulupano Seuteni.

The latter option worked a treat, as it went straight into Seuteni's hands allowing him to streak down field then provide the inside pass for Fuertes, who completed a well taken try.

A few years back we saw Dimitri Yachvili deliberately backheel a pass when playing for Biarritz, and there have been other similar moments of skill, such as Simon Zebo's volley, but this one was slightly different and while nothing extravagant, it was perfectly executed and set up the try.
