Super Rugby Plays of the 2013 Season

RugbyHQ have put together their Plays of the Season for Super Rugby, featuring a number of highly memorable hits, tries and of course funnies. We featured some of the moments that are covered, so keep a look out for those links below the video.

Some of the main categories for this year's Plays of the Season selections are as follows.

Rookie of the Year
In a new category from Sean Maloney and team, Rookie of the Year went to cross code talent Israel Folau. He wasn't really flash, but did the basics excellently and pulled off a few freakish tries and passes too. By the time he got to the Wallabies, he looked a class act.

Hit of the Year
There have been some beauties this season, but one man kept popping up week after week with big tackles and brutal runs. Rene Ranger is off to France so will be missed but we'll keep tabs on his progress and hopefully bring you more great Re-a-Ranger clips in the near future.

Try of the Year
It's a tough category to pick from as there were many outstanding efforts, but they've given number one to the Reds and the full-field scorcher that was finished off by Rod Davies. The Brumbies and Highlanders tries were also outstanding. Which was your favourite?

There's a whole lot more in the video, and in the Related Posts below. You can also browse through the Plays of the Week section for more great clips from this and previous seasons
