Tadhg Furlong produces one of the best ever passes by a forward

During Leinster's pivotal champions cup semi final against Toulouse, Furlong produced a pass which the best fly halves in the world would have been proud of.

The Irish prop found himself acting as second receiver and with what he did next, one could easily have thought his natural position was in the backline.

With a number of men to his left, Furlong effortless threw a 20 odd meter pass with pinpoint accuracy to his fullback Hugo Keenan which resulted in a line break for Leinster.

Furlong has always been a 'do it all' prop but this moment of brilliance really does show just how skilled he is in all elements of the game.

Ex-Scottish forward Jim Hamilton was hugely impressed by Furlong's moment of quality and went so far as to say "You won't see a better pass from a player wearing number 3 ever again"

Unfortunately for Furlong, his pass did not lead to any points for Leinster and in fact world player of the year Antoine Dupont charged down a loose kick moments later and ran the length of the pitch to score for Toulouse.

Only ten minutes after the Leinster's new wannabe fly half had his moment in the sun, Furlong was forced off with an injury which has left fans extremely concerned for his availability for the Champions Cup final in two weeks time.

Leinster are the first team secured in this year's champions cup final after they comfortably defeated Toulouse 40-17 in Dublin. The French side never really found their feet and Leinster's power and ruthless attack proved to be the difference between the two teams.

After his display this week fans will be desperate that Furlong is back in time for the final and maybe he could even try a drop goal this time!
