Teddy Thomas has been on fire as of late for Racing '92. His current form is producing the silky tries he's been known for throughout his illustrious career. The France winger scored a late try in his side's recent victory over Bordeaux and remained at his rampaging best in Racing's 49-7 demolition of Harlequins.
Many have noted that Thomas seems to have the perfect running balance and pace that make his breakaways so satisfying to watch. He's a try-scoring machine who makes it look incredibly easy.
However, in this case, he was helped by a somewhat lacklustre defence. Thomas took the pass off a Racing lineout and swept across the field, virtually untouched to score in the opposite corner.
Thomas' Racing teammate Teddy Iribaren said recently: "Honestly when you have Teddy beside you, you just have to give him the ball and he does the rest."
It was the beginning of a very long day at the office for Quins.
Of course, Racing currently enjoy an abundance of riches at several positions. Finn Russell was also at his play-making best, pulling all the magic strings that produced the normal amount of post-game plaudits, with former Harlequin Ugo Monye calling him the ‘most naturally talented flyhalf in world rugby’.
The lone score for the home side was Scott Steele's converted try 10 minutes into the second half.
