The Best Tries from the 2016 end of year Autumn Internationals

As one hemisphere wraps things up for the year, the other is still very much in full flight. As we look toward an amazing 2017, here is a look back at a drama-filled Autumn series between the two that provided plenty of big hits, a couple of shocking upsets, and these incredible tries.

As rugby in Europe continues at full tilt, its safe to say that collectively, the Northern Hemisphere is playing at a quality level, the likes of which could make for the best Six Nations we've seen in quite some time.

England are fresh off of an undefeated 2016, having seen off all comers from the Southern Hemisphere. Ireland will also be looking to add to a successful season at both club and national levels.

Their monumental upset of the All Blacks will still be fresh on minds as they have a serious shot at three Six Nations titles in four years. Scotland, Wales, France, and Italy have also showed moments of brilliance.

On the flip side, a few teams - namely Australia and South Africa - will be heading back to the drawing board.

No doubt, New Zealand have turned their gaze towards the Lions tour. Losing only once in 2016, they should be in fine position to pick up where they left off the last time the Lions came calling.

2017 is already shaping up to be a wonderful time to be a Rugby fan.

In the meantime, enjoy this entertaining look back on the best tries from the Autumn Internationals.

I think being the quickest to react to an unexpected bounce of the ball is a skill in itself. Also, if you can repeatedly put in a grubber or chip that bounces kindly for yourself or a teammate, as some of these players do, maybe it becomes more intentional than lucky.

yup Serin is only 22 but he seems mature beyond his years. Pretty sure he has a bright future ahead of him!

Hmmm, lots of centres kicking, chasing and getting a lucky bounce in those. Good to see a lot of tries again though.

Thanks Oliver, I had never seen that Picamoles try before. Lovely line and reverse pass from the 9.

my apologies then and kudos for replying!
I enjoyed seeing some tries from the games I've missed, so thanks for putting the time into the edit.

    PS:
as far as French tries go, I get frustrated not seeing the Serin / Picamoles one vs NZ pop up anywhere. That pass!

I am English! I just changed my youtube banner from the Wilkinson drop goal to the AB's because my other video was on the RWC, which they won. I included Italy's try against NZ, all the others I felt weren't good enough, maybe could have included Connor Murray's. However, I did forget Kuridrani's try and some French ones against Samoa. Sorry about the song!

of course......the youtube Channel has the AB's as a banner. And curiously, not one single try scored against NZ was included. Those blinders must be getting in the way I guess.
Also, that second song....My poor ears.

Anyways Cordero's try against England was my favorite of the lot!
