With the ever-ferocious Springboks set to welcome the All Blacks back for another Rugby Championship match on Saturday, the rugby world sits in wait to see if they can repeat their heroics of last week.
While South Africa have some truly terrific stars in their current lineup, it is only right to shine a light on some of the players that provided inspiration for this very talented crop of players.
One particular former player in question would be the Springbok's all-time leading try scorer, Bryan Habana. In a 12-year international career, Habana notched down an incredible 67 tries in 124 tests.
Thought to be the fastest winger in world rugby during his prime, and one of the fastest ever, Habana equaled the great Jonah Lomu's record with 15 tries in world cup competitions.
Named the International Rugby Board Player of the Year in 2007, his career saw him dominate in the Super Rugby competition with The Bulls and then The Stormers. Habana finally took his considerable talents to France where he spent his final 5 playing years turning out for the big money side, Toulon.
Now regularly turning out as a pundit on various match days, many of our younger readers may not quite appreciate the speed this legend had.

Known for his incredible top speed and acceleration on the rugby pitch, it only seemed like a sensible idea at the time to pit the speedster against the fastest mammal known to man.
