Eddie Jones' relationship with the media has always been unpredictable to say the least; and he was once again left infuriated by certain questions after England's victory over Australia.
Following a series levelling win, some would expect Eddie Jones to be in a good mood when interviewed by the media. Initially he was, and spoke positively about Ellis Genge's performance and how the loosehead has used media attention in the week as fuel before Saturday's encounter.
Shortly after this however, the England head coach was asked about Billy Vunipola and his mood immediately shifted.
His angry response seemed aimed directly at the specific journalist who questioned him heavily on dissapointed English fans the previous week.
The England manager, even confronted the reporter, sarcastically responding with "oh you have a different question this week", as if shocked he was not being asked about the fans.
Jones the playfully jousted at the reporter suggesting that English fans are still disappointed at the selection and performance of the team, even after a victory.
It is not the first time the England manager has made headlines during a press conference on this tour. His comments regarding the red card of Darcy Swain in the first test caused quite the stir.
Jones suggested that Swain's red card actually made the game harder for England, saying 'In some ways the red card can work against you. Sometimes the referee wants to compensate'.
During the press conference after the second test Eddie Jones also spoke of how pleased he was to silence the Australian fans, 'You have got 48,000 people all full of drink and all they want to see is their team win. When you turn them away, it's a great experience. A great feeling.'
He then joked with the reporters about the amount of Australian fans he saw wearing scarves in the crowd.
Once again Jones showed that journalists never know exactly what they will get when he is being interviewed, one minute a stern glare across the room, the next a laugh about Aussies wearing wool!
