The Rugby Club Plays of the Week 2012 - It defies description

We have a bizarre serving of Plays of the Week today, as we've put together the latest two episodes, exposing us all to some interesting goings-on around the world of rugby. There are also some great hits, tries, and even a bit of salsa. 

The boys at the Rugby Club in Australia, namely Sean Maloney, have put together another two weeks of crazy clips that are sure to bring as much bemusement to fans as they will enjoyment.

There's the ballet-dancing males in Dunedin before the All Blacks vs Springbok Test, the Graham Henry promo for the New Zealand women's Netball team, and then there's the classic Salsa Ball lineout call, which made it onto Plays after it was shared via RD last weekend.

The Rugby Championship is featured, with some of the best tries and dirty bits popping up, and Pretoria gets a mention as today the Springboks host the Wallabies at Loftus, a place where Bulls fans have made quite a name for themselves over the years (as have the cheerleaders). 

The ITM Cup and Currie Cup have both been providing some sensational rugby, and while we haven't been able to post everything, the Plays team have included some of the top tries too.

    That's offside Frenchie and uncalled for.

    I agree Felly, I thought the ballet was funny and applauded those youngsters efforts.

    Hard to see the quality of the Dagg try when you are mandated to fit in such other great rugby plays, like shots of television clips, cheerleaders and mascots.

    But the lack of quality rugby clips and hilights is surely compensated by the brilliantly campy music that never gets old and the witty Ozzie banter.

    Ah I see that I didn't really word things too well..The Argie try overall, imo was the better try, however the best finishing player out of both tries was Dagg, the Argie player sort of got it and then fell over the line with an aussie on his back...

    But as far as tries go in the sense of NZ vs Arg try, I'd pick the Argie one... But then thats just me...

    Yeah, the finish was good, but not amazing. But the quality of Dagg's play in that try doesn't really come across in the clip. He was involved in the movement three times, IIRC and really helped build it and set it up rather than just putting the flowery finish on it.

    Even so though, that Argies try was great -- probably still better.

    "One only bettered by Israel Dagg".... um, I don't think so.. the Argies try was better than Dagg's... in my opinion anyway.
