During a Top 14 clash between Clermont and Castres at Parc des Sports Marcel Michelin in March 2013 fly half Brock James combined beautifully with winger Sitiveni Sivivatu to score an incredible 80-metre try.
Clermont received the ball straight from kick off in the first half with a six-point lead and rather than clearing their lines, James decided to take advantage of some space in the back field.
The Australian-born fly half put in a perfectly wighted chip for All Blacks legend Sivivatu to pounce on from inside their own 22-metre line in Clermont.
The Kiwi collected the ball immaculately and charged down field towards the halfway line where he drew in the left winger and found a return pass to James on his right shoulder.
The veteran playmaker took the ball at pace and put in one final blind pass to Sivivatu, who had tracked James down the right-hand side of the field, and the speedster gassed his way to the try line from 30 metres out to score an incredible counter attack try in front of 19,000 raucous fans.
James, now 39, represented Clermont 289 times over a 10-year period scoring almost 2,500 points in the process and he retired from professional rugby last year having never represented Australia at Test match level.
Sivivatu meanwhile earned 46 caps for the All Blacks and exploded onto the international stage during the 2005 British & Irish Lions tour in New Zealand with three tries across the tree Tests.
The explosive winger scored an impressive 29 tries for New Zealand and retired from international rugby in 2011 after a decade of playing rugby in New Zealand.
He joined Clermont that same year and scored 22 tries in 69 appearances for the French side before over three years before eventually retiring from professional rugby at Castres in 2016.
