The time the Tuilagi brothers caused chaos against the USA with sheer brutal strength

Back in 2015 Tuilagi brothers Alesana and Vavae caused havoc against the USA Eagles in the Pacific Nations Cup.

The Samoans bulldozed their way through several defenders in San Jose and while Alesana displayed his brutal strength out wide, Vavae dominated collisions on his debut at number eight.

Vavae became the sixth Tuilagi family member to play Test match rugby on that day five years ago and while Alesana scored a well-taken try in the first half, he also linked up brilliantly with his brother in the opening 10 minutes to almost score a wonder try in the corner.

Questions were asked about the legality of the tackle that denied Alesana, but despite this Samoa went on to win the game 21-16 and eventually finished second in the tournament, level on points with Fiji.
