The time Waisale Serevi used his iconic hitch-kick to carve up Scotland in 2000

Back in 2000 sevens legend Waisale Serevi set up an incredible 90-metre try for the Barbarians against Scotland at Murrayfield.

The replacement took the ball at second receiver from the back of a scrum inside the Barbarians’ 22-metre line and attacked the Scotland defence.

The Fijian dummied and produced a lovely hitch-kick to burst through the defensive line and charge down field towards full back Chris Paterson.

Serevi stepped the full back with ease before finding Walter Little, who fed Joeli Vidiri to finish off a brilliant try for the tourists.

Serevi played in an incredible 359 competitions for Fiji sevens throughout his career while also representing the XVs side 39 times.
