These Adam Radwan highlights reels demonstrate why fans are so excited by young speedster

Breakthrough talent Adam Radwan has had an explosive start to the Premiership season with two tries in as many games for Newcastle Falcons.

The 23-year-old is widely regarded as the fastest player in the league and fans have been excited to watch the speedster ever since he scored a hat trick on his England debut against Canada in July.

“My plan is to get a few more of them [tries] and play for England as much as possible. The World Cup [in 2023] is definitely an aim, but there is a lot of work I need to do before that,” Radwan told inews.

While Radwan has never recorded an official 100m time, Eddie Jones and his coaching staff clocked him at 10.85 metres per second during a training camp in the summer.

“That’s from a standing start, the top speed I’ve hit when I was running 60 or 70 metres,” Radwan added. “My legs take over and I just run. There’s times when I know what I’m going to do as soon as I get the ball but there’s times when I am just making decisions without thinking about it.”

To showcase Radwan’s pace the following two montages give an idea of how easily the winger beats defenders. Not only can he run around players, his dazzling footwork makes him almost impossible to stop in open space.

So far Radwan has represented the Falcons 48 times and made his Premiership debut in the 2017/18 season following a loan spell with National League 1 side Darlington Mowden park.

During his time with Darlington he put in some impressive performances but this try in 2017 is just something to behold, and the England Rugby media team probably didn't expect the youngster to be wearing the white jersey just four years later.
