As we saw with Nigel Hunt's big hit, the Top 14 relegation/promotion play-off match between Grenoble and Oyonnax featured a number of brutal tackles. Here is a quick compilation showing the best of them, including that monster from Hunt, and a thumping hit by Lolagi Visinia.
The fiercely contested match was won 47-22 by Grenoble, earning them promotion to the Top 14.

Interesting to see how the new laws have changed tackling techniques.
0:30 the tackler starts driving to lift the player, realizes it could become a tip tackle, and quickly slides down to take the legs and make sure its a clean, legal (and hopefully safer) tackle.
Maybe the laws are helping to make it safer? Certainly more interesting as it's easier for the tackled player to make an offload now than if he was being dumped onto his back so it helps open up the game...
