These ridiculous interviews vary from funny to downright bizarre

Post-match interviews are often the most unpopular part of the game for many players. And for spectators, it's become a bland PR exercise which gives little to nothing in the way of substance.

Not all players are like this, of course, this video picks out some of the interviews which were taken less than seriously.

Some are funny while others are plain strange. So sit back, relax and enjoy some of rugby's most entertaining interviews.

From Brendan Venter's cryptic, sarcastic and possibly rude post-match interview when serving as Saracens Director of Rugby, to Brian O'Driscoll's attempt at a similarly cryptic Eric Cantona impression in 2007, the way players and coaches approach the media has always been varied.

Alex Sanderson is another character who does not shy away from the carefully rehearsed media training answers, and the Sale boss has proven to be one of the most popular interviewees in recent times, most notably for his unfiltered and brutally honest responses.

It's a breath of fresh air in what has become a far more professional, sanitised environment. The degree of honesty in someone like Nick Cummins, however, makes for more hilarious TV.

The Honeybadger has been an internet hit over the years for his extreme Australian accent and sayings, and Cummins has undoubtedly created a name for himself outside of his homeland and further afield.

From Constant Beckerling to Eddie Jones, there's plenty of laughs in this superb compilation video.
