Toulon fought back after going behind early to beat Perpignan 24-11 in the Top 14, with front rower Bruce Devaux finishing off a top team effort but taking the plaudits for his brilliant piece of play.

The win was struggling Toulon's first away win of the season, as they relegated bottom of the table Perpignan to their 17th loss from 18 games.

Liam Messam and Josua Tuisova scored for the former French and European champions, before replacement prop Bruce Devaux came on to score the try of the match and seal the win.

Devaux, an academy prop who made his debut a few weeks back, got the ball after some nice handling then without hesitation he threw a quick dummy then accelerated through the gap while fending off an attempted tackle. His sprint to the line was impressive, as he outpaced the trailing defenders.

The Toulon win keeps the former powerhouse in 10th place on the Top 14 table, one place behind Montpellier, who they will play next.

As you can see in these photos from his instagram, Devaux is an absolute unit.

And if you wondered what young props look like this days..
