Stade Toulousain took one step closer to a 22nd French title this evening with just about as polished a performance as anyone could hope to see on a rugby pitch.
Blitzing Racing 92, the Antoine Dupont led Toulouse side emerged victorious 41 – 14 in a scoreline that truly flatters Racing.
As one would expect from the French giants there were several sublime tries one of which was quite possibly the closest thing to Rugby’s version of Johan Cruyff’s ‘total football’.
Going through nearly every Toulouse player’s hands at some point before number 8 Alexandre Roumat trotted over, the score was a piece of magic.
