Tuilagi boom: Re-live one of the Heineken Cup's biggest ever hits

Back in 2009 Shane Horgan was picked to start for Leinster in the Heineken Cup final against monstrous Leicester Tigers winger Alesana Tuilagi.

Horgan, who stands at 6ft4”, gave Tuilagi a little shove over the touchline early in the match which the powerhouse Tiger winger clearly didn’t like, pointing at the Irish international with a menacing smile.

In the second half Tuilagi got possession of the ball and charged straight over the top of Horgan, leaving his opposite man on his backside.

Credit was given to the Samoan international for checking Horgan was OK as he lay on the ground in pain following the collision.

Tuilagi was known for his big hits and moments of dirty play throughout his career, which saw him earn 37 caps for Samoa and represent Leicester 145 times.
