Two yellow cards equal red for winger as Scotland dominate Samoa

Scotland claimed an impressive 34-0 win over Samoa as they got their Pool A campaign back on track in Kobe. It came in part thanks to two penalty tries, that bizarrely went against the same player, as Ed Fidow was first yellow carded for coming in the side of a maul at the tryline, then later, his second yellow card was for a dangerous tackle that prevented a try.

Pool A is now a three-horse race between Ireland, Scotland and hosts Japan.
