Setting up a world-class long-range try to take his side more than one score ahead, Gordon intercepted a loose Crusaders offload before finding his support.
Finishing off the move, Gordon's halfback partner Taine Edmed put in a pinpoint crossfield kick to Triston Reilly, who jogged over for the score.
Minutes later Gordon would be at the heart of yet another long range try but this time the scrumhalf would finish the move of himself.
