Wasps stars linked with moves to rival London clubs following club suspension

It's been a tough time for premiership clubs recently, with Worcester the first down the financial black hole, likely to be followed by Wasps in the near future.

Wasps announced early on Wednesday that their club is being forced to enter administration and has been suspended from all competitions, causing panic among the club's supporters. Their upcoming match against Exeter has since been cancelled as an uncertain atmosphere runs amok at the club.

To make matters worse, there has recently been talk of certain big named players jumping ship and returning to previous teams and local rivals.

Those in question include Jack Willis being linked with mid-table side London Irish, as they look to build on their back-row options. The former Premiership Player of the season has been a fan favourite at Wasps for years now, but will no doubt be welcomed by the Irish faithful should he make the move.

Another big name from Wasps to be linked with a London club is England legend Joe Launchbury. The 6 ft 5 in lock was declined a professional contract by Harlequins when he was 18, but now 13 years later it appears as if they are looking to make up lost time. Now 31, Launchbury has amassed 65 England caps in an illustrious career that would highly benefit the likes of Alex Dombrant and Marcus Smith at Quins.
