Aaron Smith trick shot video shows just how good his passing really is

There are a few names in consideration for the world's premiere scrum-half, with France's Antoine Dupont, South Africa's Faf de Klerk, and New Zealand's Aaron Smith the three that rise to the top on a regular basis. While each excels in his own way, Smith has the edge when it comes to passing skills.

There are some legitimate arguments that favour Aaron Smith. One of which is his relentless pursuit of the perfection of his skills, particularly his passing. Videos abound of his intense training sessions.

It's no wonder that he's arguably playing his best rugby after a century of Tests. New Zealand's tactics and desired speed of play require someone with his abilities. Thus, his value to the All Blacks is undeniable.

Smith's Rugby Championship was cut short a few weeks ago in anticipation of the birth of his second child.

However, the All Black nine hasn't been idle in his time away from the squad. He just recently returned to provincial action for Manawatu in their 31-19 win over Northland in Palmerston North on Saturday.

He also took some time with his club to show just how sharp his passing really is.
