WATCH: Botia's BRUTAL high tackle which saw red in Champions Cup final

La Rochelle star Levani Botia became the first player in history to be shown a red card in a Heineken Champions Cup final on Saturday.

The 32-year-old Fijian put in a brutal high shot on Toulouse full back Maxime Médard which left referee Luke Pearce no option but to show him a red card in the first half at Twickenham.

The collision left Médard on the ground in agony and despite originally being sent to the sin bin, Pearce changed his decision after concluding Botia’s shoulder made first contact with Médard’s head.
