Selknam prop Vesi Rarawa escaped with just a yellow card for a high tackle against Los Ceibos in the inaugural Súper Liga Americana de Rugby season.

The Fijian front rower hit second row Rodrigo Fernández Criado in the neck and shoulder area with force after he passed the ball.

The referee gave Rarawa a yellow card for foul play but many fans will argue the 34-year-old should not have been allowed to return to the field of play.

Los Ceibos came away with a 32-16 win in Santiago to make it two wins from two in the competition. Full match highlights are available below:

Rarawa earned one cap for Fiji in 2010 against Australia and joined Selknam earlier this year.

Argentinian league? And you call yourself a rugby journalist? You think all the Chilean, Paraguayan, Brazilian and Uruguayan players and the rugby federations behind them worked their asses off to create the Super Liga, so you can call it the Argentinian league? Shame on you sir.

Thnaks for changing the headline. Didn't mean to be harsh, but South American rugby is more than just Argentina, or at least we are trying haha.
