WATCH: Former Wallaby gives filthy offload to assist try in Japan

Bernard Foley threw this filthy offload to set up a try for the Kubota Spears last Saturday in Japan Rugby League One.

32-year-old Foley threw this beautiful offload to set up substitute Suryug Kim to seal a 59 point to 26 victory for the Kubota Spears over the Green Rockets. This win keeps Kubota at the top of conference A ahead of the Green Rockets.

The try originated when former Wales international Jake Ball made a break up the pitch. However, he was unable to find support from a teammate and his attempted offload was intercepted by Foley. Foley burst from just outside of his own 22, up to the opposition 10-metre line where he was caught by a tracking defender. Foley then threw, as he was tackled, a sublime offload to set up try scorer Kim. The out of he back offload from Foley made it look as if has eyes in the back of his head, while finding a receiver. The try was converted by Foley to seal the final score at 59-26.

Foley earned 70 caps for Australia during his international career which spanned from 2013 right up until the 2019 world cup. So far, Foley has been a standout performer for Kubota in the newly revamped Japanese league.

Foley scored a try himself early in this game, and came away with 19 out of the total 59 points scored by Kubota. Another notable name playing for Kubota was Springbok hooker Malcolm Marx, who also bagged himself a hat trick of tries in the same game against the Green Rockets.
