France scored one of the tries of 2021 against the Wallabies on Saturday with an electrifying counter attack try in Brisbane.
The tourists attacked the blindside of a scrum inside their own half through half back Baptiste Couilloud, who fed winger Teddy Thomas on their own 22-metre line.
The Racing 92 speedster then regathered his own chip down the touchline and returned the ball to Couilloud on his inside with a lovely pop pass.
Les Bleus then spread the ball to the other side of the pitch for centre Pierre-Louis Barassi to score the visitors’ opening try of the match inside 10 minutes at Suncorp Stadium.
However despite an early red card for Marika Koroibete and the opening try from France, it was the Wallabies who stole a dramatic win in the third Test match of the series Down Under. Full match highlights, beginning with the red card, are available below:
