Springboks star Cheslin Kolbe escaped punishment for a potential high tackle on Tom Curry during Saturday’s Test match against the British & Irish Lions in Cape Town.
The Toulouse winger rushed up in defence and made a challenge on Curry in the 15th minute of the game which appeared be head-on-head, but was not picked up by the officials.
Kolbe bounced off the tackle and was left on his knees with a bleeding nose, yet many fans and pundits believe it would have been considered foul play in the northern hemisphere.
This tackle came just a few minutes before Kolbe was sent to the sin bin for taking out Conor Murray in the air, making the speedster lucky to finish the game at the DHL Stadium.
