WATCH: Michael Hooper's touching gesture to Aaron Smith after 100th cap

Wallabies captain Michael Hooper gave a lovely gesture to All Blacks scrum half Aaron Smith in the changing rooms following his 100th cap.

Smith played a key role in New Zealand's 33-25 win at Eden Park in the opening game of this year's Bledisloe Cup and Hooper presented him with a gift from the Wallabies side after full time.

Hooper's speech was full of admiration for Smith and the playmaker made his All Blacks debut in 2012 and since then has helped New Zealand to World Cup glory in 2015 and several Rugby Championship titles.

On Aaron Smith’s landmark appearance, All Blacks head coach Ian Foster said: “He’s a special man, he’s achieved so much in the black jersey and has been an iconic player for us over the last decade. We know it’ll be a special night for him, his wife Teagan and his family.”
