Watch Namibian wingers display incredible speed against Uruguay

Uruguay returned fire in their final pool stage match after falling behind to a geed-up Namibian side with a point to prove. The match kicked off with high energy as both teams were eager to make their mark on the scoreboard.

It didn't take long for the first try of the match to be scored by Gerswin Mouton for Namibia, displaying his exceptional speed as he picked the ball up off of the floor following a mix-up in the Uruguayan backline.

Namibia continued to press forward, and their efforts paid off as JC Greyling managed to find space down the left-hand side, resulting in another wonderful winger's try.

Uruguay, however, quickly responded, with some pressure of their own. After camping on the Namibian line, Baltazar Amaya stormed over the line for Felipe Etcheverry to add the conversion, narrowing the gap.

The second half commenced with both teams determined to secure a victory. Tiaan Swanepoel once again showcased his kicking abilities, converting a try scored by Santiago Arata for Uruguay. Uruguay's slick passing paid off when Baltazar Amaya scored another try, courtesy of Felipe Etcheverry's setup.

Tensions escalated when Aranos Coetzee from Namibia was shown a yellow card, which was then followed by Des Sethie recieving a red card - the second red card in two matches for the side.

In the closing moments of the match, a yellow card was shown to Eric Dosantos of Uruguay, but the damage was already done, the South American side had pulled back and had taken the score out of Namibia's reach by this point.

Final Score: Uruguay 36 - 26 Namibia
