WATCH: Otago prop punished for hiding opposition boot

Otago prop Jonah Aoina received a yellow card on Saturday for throwing an opposition player’s boot away.

Aoina tackled a Northland player during round 10 of the Mitre 10 Cup and somehow ended up holding one of their boots.

The Samoan then threw it behind his back to make it difficult to find, but the referee saw the offence and sent him to the sin bin.

    hahahaha so curious that action, but it seems legit to throw boot away and get punished for it :P penalty: instead yellow card, throw Aoina boot away too >.
