WATCH: Pitch Invader gets smashed by security during anthems at Six Nations clash

Watch this pitch invader get smashed during the anthems before a big Six Nations clash.

England hosted Ireland in a crucial game for both sides in the second last round of the 2022 Six Nations Championship last Saturday.

Twickenham was the venue for the clash between Eddie Jones and Andy Farrell’s men. However, much to the surprise of viewers and fans, the drama and action began before the game even kicked off.

Following usual proceedings, the Ireland team and supporters sang ‘Ireland’s call’ and then it was time for ‘God Save the Queen’. Just as the English anthem started, a pitch invader started to make their way onto the field. The invader made their way over the barrier and past security.

They then made their way over to where the England team had lined up and stood beside the England captain, Tom Curry. However, the invader didn’t get to stay there long before being absolutely smashed by stadium security. The invader, who was dressed in a n England jersey and kit, was escorted by security away from the field of play.

The pitch invader is known online as Jarvo69 and snuck onto the pitch at multiple games during last November’s Autumn Nations Series. He stood beside the All Blacks in Cardiff during the anthems before they took on Wales, and he did the same with Japan as they took on Ireland in Dublin.
