Waratahs and Wallabies star Kurtley Beale was gifted a try against the Sunwolves in Super Rugby following a shocker of a kick.
South African-born centre Shane Gates attempted a delicate chip from just outside the 22-metre line but instead of floating into the arms of his teammate, landed right on the chest of Beale.
The Australian playmaker caught the ball and ran 30 metres to score the Waratahs’ first try of the game and the visitors went on to win 30-31 in Tokyo in round two of the 2019 Super Rugby season.
