WATCH: Veteran props compared to Tadhg Furlong in new viral video

Video of props linking together with amazing pieces of skill went viral online.

The video which was posted by RugbyDump on Instagram and TikTok has since gone viral. Two props link together following a clearing kick as they return the play back up to the opposition 22. The first prop gathers the ball and throws an almost perfect pass to his fellow front row partner. The receiver takes the ball into contact but throws a beautiful ‘Sonny-Bill-esque’ offload back to the original prop. The ball is carried forward through multiple defenders as they scramble to take him to ground.

Ellis Genge also had some fun with England front row partner Jamie George in the Instagram comment section. Genge tagged George in the comments and other viewers replied to the comment with “I’ll show @ellisgenge real pace”.

Spectators can be heard comparing the props to Irish Rugby legend Tadhg Furlong. Furlong is widely considered as one of the best tight-head props in all of World Rugby. Furlong has over 50 caps for Ireland and has won many accolades with Leinster and Ireland including Champions Cup and URC wins along with a Six Nations grand slam in 2018. During the Irish grand slam of 2018, Furlong played an integral role in Ireland’s win.

You must be playing well if you’re being compared to Tadhg Furlong!
