Wayne Barnes explains how referees judge when a ball is correctly grounded

International referee Wayne Barnes joined Ben Kay and the BT Sport Rugby Tonight crew to discuss a number of topics this week, one of which was the always contentious topic of the grounding of the ball.

Using demonstrations and match footage, Barnes tries to clear up some of the confusion around it.
