Welsh fans question alleged headbutt from Ellis Genge in Saturday's Autumn Nations Cup clash

Fans and former players have questioned footage of England prop Ellis Genge appearing to headbutt Tomas Francis during Saturday’s Autumn Nations Cup game in Llanelli.

The incident occurred moments after Genge won a penalty at a scrum in the 74th minute when he ended up on top of Francis, causing some pushing and shoving between the sides.

The 25-year-old took to Twitter to insist he did not headbutt the Welshman but opinion appears to be split over whether the incident should be reviewed by a citing panel.

England won the game 13-24 at Parc y Scarlets meaning they will face France next weekend in the final of the Autumn Nations Cup.

Genge has earned 22 caps for England since making his debut in 2016 and in the same year he signed for Leinster Tigers from Bristol Bears.
