Wild start at Twickenham as Quins pull off another wonder-try

Marcus Smith kick pass, length of the pitch try, Harlequins. How often have we used those phrases in sentences over the past few years? Well, here we go again...

Before Brian O'Driscoll even had the chance to take his seat, Quins had scored their first length of the field try through some terrific offloads and support play - ending with a pinpoint perfect Marcus Smith crossfield kick.

Scoring in less than two minutes, this RugbyDump writer barely even had time to open his laptop...

Here's the incredible clip:

Just minutes later, Danny Care found himself in front of a thunderous carry from former England teammate Courtney Lawes. Despite being arguably a foot shorter than the Northampton lock, Care found himself in the bin for a high tackle...

Speaking ahead of the match, Care had told BBC Sport:

"We're very unique that we get to walk from our own ground to the home of rugby, Twickenham. It's never lost on the players. Something happens to us as a club when we get to go over and play at Twickenham, we love doing it," he said.

"I'm very proud of being from this club that has pioneered the way of taking games to big stadiums.

"It's our job as players to showcase that and show our stuff on the pitch, so we want to to put on some fireworks as well."
