Young Cardiff Rugby winger scores brilliant 50-metre try

For the second week in a row, Cardiff Rugby were forced to play with an understrength side. Approximately 40 players are still unavailable after their trip to South Africa. Regardless, the men in blue and black put up another dogged performance.

This week it was 19-year old Theo Cabango that had a standout moment. He scored a brilliant 50-metre try in the first half that leveled the match at 17-17 before Harlequins finally broke things open after the hour mark.

"It’s a dream come true just to be playing against the likes of Marcus Smith and last week Antoine Dupont. It’s mind-blowing. One week you are playing for Cardiff RFC and the next for Cardiff Rugby," said Cabango.

"It’s amazing and I think most of us took that opportunity. It just goes to show what we can do and prove that we are here for a reason."

Cabango is the younger brother of Wales defender Ben Cabango. He's among several who are stepping up to make the most of their chances in a tough situation for Cardiff.
