Young Melbourne star offloads twice in four seconds to assist lovely try

Melbourne Rising number eight Rob Leota produced two offloads in four seconds to set up a try against Sydney in the National Rugby Championship on Sunday.

Leota beat three defenders in total and having made the first ‘backdoor’ offload the 22-year-old got straight back to his feet to take the return pass and then make another offload to assist the try.

Leota made his Super Rugby debut for Melbourne Rebels in 2016 and his assist on Sunday helped Melbourne record a 40-26 win in round five of the competition.

Melbourne now sit sixth in the table, three points ahead of Sydney who are bottom and full match highlights are available below:
